Walking stick insect

Found this Walking Stick insect on the porch - poor guy doesn't look like he's going to make it.

It's next to a 11.5" binder for scale! I can't believe how big it is! Almost looks like something from Men In Black.

This is nature, at its best!

Wish I could have caught a snap of the hummingbird that keeps visiting - just when I reach for my camera, its off!
