"The Cabins"

at

Camp Milagro

Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, these 12 acres are a true hidden gem. Built during the 1840s in Ohio and after decades of layers and add-ons, the home was discovered. Each log was marked and removed individually for future assembly. It was originally taken to Fredricksburg, Tx - but later transferred to its current location on a New Braunfels hilltop. After reassembled, additions were made from Texas barns, old homes, and other historic sites.

Today, 'The Cabins' offers the feeling of 'long ago', yet all the modern conveniences for even the pickiest of visitors. Tremendous views, serene environment, and plush accommodations - you won't want to leave and will plan to return yearly, if not more often.

In 2016, the availability for the adjoining property became available, offering an extra 78 acres and frontage to the Guadalupe River. This additional acreage now homes the owners and caretakers, and allows guests of "The Cabins" access to the Guadalupe River.

If shopping, restaurants, or entertainment are on the agenda, then you will find it all within a few miles. Camp Milagro is located about 15   miles from Downtown New Braunfels and the historic town of Gruene. Many other towns can be found within about a 30-minute drive: whether to beautiful Canyon Lake, the wineries in

Wimberley or to the big cities of San Antonio or Austin - just to name a few.

Details....

The cabins are within steps of one another and are only rented out as 'one unit'.

The main cabin has a huge, wrap-around porch containing tables and benches that offer places to relax, work, and enjoy the scenery; including an upstairs area with additional views.  Around the porch, you will find the newest addition of a waterfall AND 'dipping pool'.  Inside, has the modern needs of 'today'. The full kitchen has all the necessities with dishwasher, stove, oversized sink, etc.  Set up with an open concept, the Great Room, right off the kitchen, offers an oversized dining table, television, a huge fireplace, and a powder bathroom containing a washer/dryer.  The master bedroom offers a wonderful sitting area with television and seating, a king-size bed, a fireplace, and a full bathroom, with an additional fireplace.  The steep, rounded stairwell was built from wood found on the property. On the second floor, there are 2 separate queen-sized bedrooms with a shared full bathroom between the two.  Another stairwell leads to the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor offers a viewing area with seating (ideal area for enjoying a glass of wine & scenery).

Cabin #2 also offers magnificent views from its porch. Here you will find the main entrance downstairs to the first queen size bedroom. Upstairs with its separate entrance, a second queen bedroom is located in its quaint setting.  (Detailed photos can be found on the Photo Gallery Pages). Attached is one of our newest additions with the "Silo Bath", containing a shower, toilet, and sink area.

Cabin #3 is a charming, historic cabin as well. It contains a fireplace and sitting/eating area on the first level. Upstairs is furnished with a queen-size bed, all tastefully decorated. Steps outside is a full outdoor/indoor bathroom with a shower.
